Specifications
Function: The
purpose of this position is to increase our customer base by
adding new accounts to the
company’s customer roster. New business is attained by meeting
with potential clients,
discussing the Company’s history, philosophy and guarantees and then providing them with a
quotation for our services. Your responsibilities will include:
| Cold
Calling: Attempting to establish relationships
with any business withinyour
territory that we do not currently service. Telephone
calls, sending introductory letters and physically
driving to and meeting with potential clients is
required.
Leads: The
Company will provide you with both residential and
commercial leads within your territory. This may include
follow-ups to calls made to the company as well as
referrals from existing customers. Business customers
are to receive a written proposal for service utilizing
the standards provided to you.
Inspections: The Company may
require you to perform inspections of potential clients.
This may include assessment of the level of infestation
within a commercial account as well as determination if
any wood-destroying insects are infesting a customer’s
residence. In addition, inspections of residential homes
for insect infestation for real estate transactions may
be
required. |
Requirements: The ability to communicate clearly both
verbally and in writing. A
basic understanding of computers and the use of common
programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel. A valid driver’s license along with a
reasonable driving record and the willingness to drive various
distances to meet with potential clients.
Compensation: Compensation is commission based and
provides for a weekly draw. Details follow on the next pages.
A vehicle and gas card is provided by the company, as is a
cell phone. Other communications devices such as a fax machine
may prove to be necessary and will then be provided as
well |
